jwnikita
Well, this Biker Chick is ready to submit for basic (haven’t had time to do the sole grooves yet). Can I get a final inspection before doing so? I tried to build everything to Lancer specs so feedback on that is welcome also. Full costume phots attached here. Detailed photos in Google album. Retrofire
It’s looking great Jill! Loosen up your cod piece so it doesn’t get pulled under. You want that piece to be “in front” not under. You may want to consider adding a stiffener to the cod to make it a bit more rigid. It will guard against it folding. The left TD greeblie is upside down when compared to the CRL photos. Your GML may or may not consider that as a finding though.I’d say submit that sucker! I’m a GML and I would approve. Good job!
Bootlegger137
Only things that jump out is the bicep armor looks a little low...and that dreaded problem with the cod bunching up. These are more “dressing” problems than construction, I think.

Good job!I already have a piece of semi-rigid foam on the backside of the cod.i will flip the free blue on the TD. I do not have long arms and have rather short upper arms thus the lower bicep pieces. I’ll see what I can do about it. Just need to loosen your strap a smidge so it’s not as tight. For the biceps you can add Velcro later to keep those in place. Fitment is 99% of the problems a new scout faces and that will come with trooping in it. I think you did a great job and you’ll sail past basic approval!

Suggestions?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

TB-9490
I think it looks excellent! I have the same issue with my cod piece being pulled under... I plan on replacing the elastic band that runs on down under for a looser one, mine sometimes feels like I am wearing a thong lol! Great job!

I added a little elastic extension to the strap and I am pretty sure it will be covered by my beltSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Your belt/TD should cover a small extension with no problem. Once you get used to wearing the armor and suiting up it will become second nature to you. You are GO for submission! It's going to go great!
