Reading the updated CRL, for the helmet...

  • Bolts are either flat or have concave centers

Are the Magic Sliders still good to use? I know they won't meet Lancer requirements, but for basic?

Thanks!

Furniture pads are exactly what we are trying to get away from.  They are convex, so neither flat nor concave.

They might be a bit pricier, but why not get the actual bolts and be done with it?

I got the helmet second hand, pre-finished, and they're just what's on it already. I'll probably swap them out, but if I don't happen to get around to it will that hinder approval? Thank you.

Yeah, since the furniture pads are rounded then they wouldn't meet basic.  Even elevator bolts would be better.
