spyder918 Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 I'm doing test fits with my new MC armor. Awesome armor btw. I realize I should be doing this with my flight suit on, but I don't have it yet. If you take a look at the pic below with my forearm piece, should there be that much gap on the sides? Should the sides be tighter/closer to my arm? Do I need to give these puppies a hot bath? All the pieces on my arms have about the same amount of gap. I'm coming from building TK armor where every piece had to fit like a glove. Please let me know...thanks!
Dart Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Yeah, the armour doesn't need to be as form-fitting as a TK, but you could bring those ends in a bit. I like to add some padding on the inside edges so they don't dig in. Nice kit!
Chopper Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 ABS is really flexible, so it'll also bend a bit once you secure the strapping, but yeah, you can adjust it some more once you get your flight suit on. Hot bath or a hair dryer should do the trick.
