Attaching Clips for thermal detinator

Before you glue the end caps on, you will need to rivet the clips onto the det tubing.

Here's an example of how mine are riveted on:

You can also see in Strider's Lancer build thread how he rivets in the clips as well. Even though he's wrapping his own cabling on the det tubing, the process should be the same.

Can you expand on what you mean?

The clips are riveted onto the det tubing, which is zip tied into the det box. Once assembled, this allows you to slide the whole det onto the back of your belt webbing.

OK it just seemed like, from looking at the clips I have and the pictures with the rivets in them that the rivets would prevent the clip from opening to slide it onto the belt
