Diadem
Hey all, been working on these. First time doing anything like it. Does this look ok so far? Still need to sew the tubes, and nothing's totally in place yet. Toe vinyl's glue is still drying, nothing else glued down yet. Will weather after all is in place. Are my sole cuts too extreme or ok? Any advice is welcomed, and appreciated. Thanks! - Brian

Diadem
I darkened the cuts in the soles to kinda weather those areas.
Chopper
Overall I think that's a solid start. Sole cuts look ok to me, pretty similar to how Cheesewhoopy does them. Is the boot in the photo a left or right boot? (Hard to see from the angle). Remember that left boot closure is left-over-right. Right boot closure is right-over-left. Also, did you double stitch the dog bones with dark thread? I recommend you use white thread if you can, as was in the films.

The Velcro closures are correct, and cheesewhoopy said to use brown thread, and showed a screencap from the movie showing the thread being brown. Chopper
Gotcha. My read was always that the thread was white and had just gotten dirty and dingy from weathering and wear.
