Painting pistol?

I have DVH’s hold out pistol which is rubber. I’m wondering if I should paint it black or leave it as is? If I do paint it, can I use regular spray paint or craft paint?

Negative. It's not needed, and besides, the paint won't adhere to the rubber anyhow.

The only part you need to paint is the metal trigger guard, which you should paint flat black with spray paint

Ok. Cool. And the handle is already black. I don’t suppose I will weather it then, since I don’t plan to weather any other pieces just yet.

The screen used pistols weren't weathered anyhow, so you should be good out of the box.
