SC's new molds

well, i saw this a few weeks ago and havent seen anyone post anything about it.

"We have updated our Chest, Back, Hump, Shoulders and Biceps to be even more movie-accurate.
Beveled edges, indented strap holes and a new T-bit Greeblie!!!!"

being i have owned some SC armor and would like to have seen these changes when i had my armor this is awesome news. 
glad to see the costume makers taking steps in improving their armor.

SC has moved up the ladder with this move ... would love to see the new stuff and a comparison thread with the old armor.
cant really tell much with the pic but, the tank looks a little longer(not so short) and the return edges are huge plus.

There's still some things that could be better, but this is really great news.   Really with the increase in competition coming from newer armor makers, SC had to step up their game, and it looks like they did it.   And they always had the best out-of-the-box package.  I hope that still stays the same!

I believe there are at least 1 or 2 scouts currently building the new SC kit, so we should hopefully see how they look assembled fairly soon.

Almost every piece on that picture looks different from what i bought a year ago. Looks better, but also like alot more plastic to cut.

If my eyes aren't deceiving me then those Thermal Detonator caps are indented! awesome!  id exchange certain bits of that set for my bits anytime.

Lol, yes!. I def recall the "fun" of heating the old ones up with a hair dryer and making the indents with a raquetball. Very interested to see who will be the first pathfinder to submit with the updated armor.

Ha ha, I used a cricket ball personally (well being in Australia.....)

I also notice a 1 piece belt.  Are they sending kits out trimmed now as , mine came fully trimmed out of the box?

The one piece belt happened earlier than this most recent revision. My kit came with a one piece belt, which was a great addition. 

Looks like you can get the new kit trimmed or rough cut from SC, depending on how much you want to pay.

Hmmm I bought this kit in November. I wonder if they had already updated the molds?

Still working on it but it will be done soon. The one thing I wish they would fix is the holster. The blaster dowesn't quite sit as nicely as I'd like it to

i think thats how it with all the holsters ... i added a small piece of abs to the inside of my holsters(CFO/Strider and the SC) to hold the blaster....
the blaster doesnt move and wont come out now
