BikerScout007 Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 Hey Pathfinders and soon-to-be Pathfinders! After popular demand, we have moved the Level 2 application forums out from behind the Pathfinder wall so that any Pathfinder Detachment member may see them. We had several requests for this from people who were doing builds and wanted to learn from the best how to avoid mistakes. We are happy to open these up to everyone in the hopes they will lead to better builds all around. The Level 2 forums may be found in the Armory section for that costume. A couple of caveats. Level 2 applications are for the applicant and the Level 2 Review team members to respond to ONLY. Any comments from any other user will be removed. I have shut off permissions to post to almost everyone except for members of the class in question (Example, only 501st Biker Scouts can post in the Lancer app thread, only 501st Shoretroopers can post in the Vanguard thread, etc). But anyone will be able to see the applications and hopefully learn from them. This is a trial basis thing and there will be bugs to work out, but I hope it leads to a better result overall. Pathfinders United! 10 1
Barber Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 This is huge and very helpful. When I was building my scout to lancer spec, I spent more time looking at previous lancer applications than anything else. I went back through the last two years, studying pictures and reading feedback they each received. There’s so much to learn there. Even just for the pictures themselves. Every application has dozens of detailed pictures that can lend a lot of insight to how things are put together, sized and strapped. I think anyone building a biker scout should take a venture through the lancer applications. Even if that’s not your goal, it will still help in your build. 3
