mickeymark34
I have done some research on getting some new armor. Should I be a Rogue One Death Trooper? Sandtrooper? Phase II Clone? I think I’m really leaning toward a Biker Scout, or Shadow Scout. Now the question of the day is, where should I begin? I have visited this forum a few times before. I think I remember seeing a topic on armor makers. What do you guys recommend? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well out of all of those, the only one we can help you with (with any level of expertise) is the Biker Scout. And if that's your choice (which I highly recommend), then you want to start here: http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/forum/91-biker-scout-hq/ And for a view of most of the popular armors, please look here: I hope this gives you a good place to start! Please feel free to ask any and all questions

mickeymark34
I think mobility is nice. It takes sometime to feel comfortable in my TK when I suit up. I was thinking the Biker Scout would be the most comfortable of all. I am 6’2” and currently weigh about 240. Are there any makers that would be better for someone like me? Here's the little secret about the Scout that some people have a hard time accepting: It's really a soft costume, so the most important thing is getting that right. The armor parts that we do have are all held by straps that are very forgiving for a wide variety of body types. I think people make the mistake of thinking that they need "BIG" armor. The scout armor is small. The chest piece in particular. i think most makers make them too big. The thing should fit like a bra, and stop at your pectorals. If it's going halfway down your torso, it's never going to look right. Easiest kit and most forgiving right out of the box is probably Studio Creations. But check out those links I showed you and shop around.

Since you are in Florida, you need to get in touch with your future Garrison, as they are the ones that will be approving your costume and admitting you to the Legion upon successful approval https://fl501st.com/ Best of luck!
