DLT-20a question

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I was pointed here by a few guys on the UKG forums to ask about the DLT-20a sniper rifle. They said you may be able to help with having this piece of equipment clearable with the TB Scout Trooper CRL.

I know from the CRL that the DLT-19X is the only sniper available in the scout arsenal, but I want to field a DLT-20a instead. Looking at forms of media such as the Battlefront games, TB Scout Troopers do carry this rifle in active service. Would this rifle be added to the CRL in the future? I've attached reference pics to this thread to clarify.

Any info would be great! 39947b6886704d03e4fda3368a6c1b13.jpg93afafcc05b8b132740a8ad4155f5920.jpg

I brought this up at the time we were adding the DLT-19 that we should also add the DLT-20a, as the old games are no longer canon according to Disney, but the new Battlefront games are.

This is something that is on my list.   What I need is someone with the weapon to help draft its inclusion in the CRL.   Would you like to volunteer?

I've checked out some of the older threads and seen a bit about it's inclusion. I would definitely be up for it, what would need to be done to draft it?

Most importantly, I would need pictures of an actual DLT-20a!   I can work out the drafting language.

It looks like it's base is built from a STG-44. A photo of the prop is here https://bit.ly/2QfZAb6, but I can put some feelers out to see if I can find someone who finished one of the Diamond State Prop versions for a CRL photo.

Yeah I would need a quality photo taken in front of an easily removable background.  The language and dealing with the LMOs I will deal with

Let's get 'er done!

I've got a lad printing an April Storm Props DLT-20a rifle for me now, will hopefully have it over the Christmas period to work on and provide some updates. I'll set up a WiP once I have the parts in hand. Or would this thread be ok to use as the WiP?

Start a new thread. That way it is nice and clean for people that want to use it for research in the future!
