sjsobota Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 Hello all. I’ve been looking through build threads and haven’t seen an answer for my questions...my belt came in three pieces - the main belt with three sections, then two other pieces each with a section on them. All the belts I’ve seen had all five sections on one strip. how do I attach these? Also, can someone please direct me to a good build tutorial for the thermal detonator? I’ve seen so many variations that I’m getting a little confused. Thanks to all in advance!
Retrofire Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 Take a look at Pandatroopers build thread in the Biker Scout armory. He explains the build of the three piece belt and the thermal detonator in detail.http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/topic/9781-pandatroopers-sc-biker-scout-build/ 2

I just glued mine together with E6000 and they have held great after all these years. DO NOT rivet them together. That is a no-no according to the CRL. The only rivets on the belt are one on each side in the back, riveting the nylon straps to each end of the belt so it can be closed. 2
Retrofire Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 Mickey makes good points regarding only the two rivets at the ends. The build thread I directed you to will show you a technique to glue the three parts together without fasteners. Your belt should only have one rivet on each side like this. 2
