Bozzy Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 So as part of a kick-starter Sean needed stretch goals for backers so I suggested the Kash lid as there are few vendors (none in the UK).. Its taken him a while to get the shape but this was his first pics of it. I believe he's now articulated it to flip open too. Not sure if these files will become available to buy separately. Enjoy. 6
BikerScout007 Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 This is really great news! As far as I know we are down to 1.....maybe 2 Kashy armor makers. This would be a huge help.
ferra Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Wow, he needs to add the open part of the visor in sketch but it is looking good!

Bally Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Sorry I mean a link to the Kickstarter project... If he's adding this as a stretch goal.

Been and gone I'm afraid.. Its was to fund a 3d print wheelchair battle droid set up.. Hopefully the files will sell on their own.

ferra Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Couldn´t find the video of the helmet opening. I did the presentation of the Scout helmet and it looks good!. What I´d like to see in the Kashyyyk bucket is the same type of fit to the head, with the neck being more fitted and the snout closed, as I think it does give it a more "realistic" look, and the "ear" vents a little more rounded off...
Barber Posted January 8, 2019 Posted January 8, 2019 The helmet was released to those that backed his kickstarter. It was a stretch goal reward. I have the files downloaded, I just haven't had the chance to print the helmet just yet. It's worth a shot checking with Sean if the files may be released publicly or if he is trying to sell them via his etsy store.
Bozzy Posted January 8, 2019 Author Posted January 8, 2019 Not printed one yet. If people want it I can ask Sean to put it on his etsy store for people to buy? 4
ferra Posted January 8, 2019 Posted January 8, 2019 Mm, looks good is that the final model? And yeah, having it available on etsy or other places would be killer!!! 1
THUNDERCAT Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 This is amazing would love to see a full kit so more people can start printing 😁
