Jumpsuit pockets question

So my Red Kap jumpsuit arrived today and it fits well I think. I have a question about tge pickets on the pants. There are two sets; one set is right in line with the seam giving access to pants I would wear underneath. The other set is directly in front of those and

Are like normal pants pockets. Do those need to be removed? Would the pouches cover? Should I add Velcro to the seam pockets to keep them closed?

 

Where my hand is is where the seam pocket is and you can see the other in front of that.

I have been wondering this as well. I keep putting my hands into the wrong pockets. Lol It's rather weird to have two sets of pockets. I have thought about sewing them closed. I removed all of the other pockets, hidden or not.
