Can you chose your numbers for your "TK" "ST" ect?

I was wondering I know I'm a bit ahead but when you get verified by the 501st can you chose your number? like for example when I finish my Shoretrooper I would want the number to actually be my fathers birthday so it would be ST 0457, and does the number have to be the same across detachments?

You choose your number. It has to be five digits long and yes it's the same for each costume. The only thing that changes is the costume designation: TK, TB, DZ, etc.

You submit a list of 5 id’s in the order you prefer when you apply your costume for approval. You get the first one that is available.

Don’t forget you need to have joined a Garrison and your costume needs to be finished and cleared before you are given a number

Here’s a part of the instructions I send to our members wishing to join. I would join the UK Garrison forums first and verify what their process is before proceeding. In the Dune Sea we prefer to have the candidates set up in the Garrison forums first so we can answer questions and guide them through the process.

We will first need your 501st application to be filled out. All Imperial Citizens wishing to join the Imperial Armed Forces will need to successfully complete this phase.

When you get to the TKID portion think of a five digit number that has significance to you as that will be your ID for as long as you serve the Empire. There is a spreadsheet you can review to ensure that your number is available. For example in my case my TKID 91005 is the date of my anniversary.
