This is my second go at a ST build. My first attempt was 850 v1 kit which half way thru became a Tank Commander instead.

Having been busy printing weapons, shoulder bells and other replacement armor pieces I have decided to start my ST build based on the Sean Fields files.

Helmet - 90% finished SF lid.

Armor - S Fields files with modding

Breeches - Plan on Steven Walker for these or poss self made

Boots - Orca bays as usual.

E-22 - Already finished resin 850 works

Started with the back piece which is well underway. Just trying out some different collar pieces to see what works best atm0e612aa3b2d1267340ef7f84d3fd14b3.jpg5ce3756cfb99008142b35a1d756b48a3.jpg500e71cce18faa0cff2e6a9d26308f51.jpg

Ive seen alot of posts about using pla as a medium. I live in the UK so heat is certainly not an issue lol. As for strength Ive found that reinforcing with some 1mm ABS sheet in places works a treat and making sure that parts like the shins and forearms are put together without the need to stretch or bend them over the body part to put them on. As long as you think ahead PLA works pretty well

Hey, I just wanted to know what your approximate print time for the entire thing was, also what did it cost you? (unintended infinity war reference) xD

Hours? Wow...id dread to think. 200+ at least. I print at 0.3 - 0.4 where possible and just put up with the amount of prep work needed. 0.1 gives great detail, but when its covered in filler primer, spray and then weathered its kinda redundant tbh. As for cost, i think it must be at least 7kg of filament.

Looking good! The buckles could use a good sanding, these have some heavy print lines.
