cpthoff73 Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Alright team pathfinder, I need some help. I am working on my scout armor, Chef's Creations, and I am at the point of putting the belt together. I was told and read, the that boxes should hang about 2 inches below the belt. How much cotton webbing should I use to attach the buckles to the boxes and the belt? Is there a standard that is used or is it all just an estimate? I look forward to your responses. Thank you. Cheers, Travis TI-5265 German Garrison
BikerScout007 Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Between 1 and 2 inches, closer to 1 if you can do it. How much webbing you need will depend on your size of course. For my belt boxes, I used 4 feet of webbing
Chopper Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Hey dude, welcome aboard. The drop boxes should ideally hang about 1" below the belt. To attach my boxes to the webbing, I put some velcro in my boxes and then attached the webbing to the velcro. This also lets you adjust the way the boxes hang.
