Sentinel-Wraith
This is my first trooper build, and I've been trying to follow the guidelines as well as the input of my local chapter regarding the patching on the scout. Here's what I have so far. How does this look regarding placement?Front of crotchBack of CrotchFlap UpFlap Down Hoping to get some feedback before I commit to the sewing. BikerScout007
The riding patches look very good! My only concern is maybe the butt flap is too short, but it's hard to tell without everything on.
Sentinel-Wraith
Here's a picture wearing it. FrontBack Flap lifted Thoughts?
Chopper
As Mickey said, the overall shape looks good. Here's where wearing the gear really helps -- it can totally change perspective when it's on you! Ok, so just eyeballing it, the thigh patches look maybe an inch, to an inch and a half too long. The butt flap is also slightly too long by maybe two inches. To help give you an idea, here's some photos of Gino's scout from celebration. Remember, small adjustments! You've got this! Note also the size of the flap in this screenshot from rotj:
BikerScout007
Ha and here I said the butt flap looked a little too short! That Scout's butt flap is definitely on the shorter end in the screen shot above, and we generally prefer them to come down to the bottom of your butt cheek! Sentinel-Wraith
Ok, so I definitely need to shorten the thigh patches by about an inch to an inch in the half. What's the final verdict on the flap? I'm taking it that I need to make it a bit longer?

As Mickey stated, right at the bottom of you cheeks is where you’d want it to sit. Do you happen to have your belt finished? Putting that on will give a better idea of where everything should be.
