New to group and starting my new Scout build. Have been working on undersuit for last few days, just ordering some faux suede... but what colour to get? Is it black or charcoal or grey.... or just worn in black??

Go with black.  The grey comes from weathering and age

Excellent... I thought so. Cheers. Can I also confirm size of thigh straps, can you use Velcro closures for sleeves and legs? And neck closure finishes at front or towards right side. Thanks in advance.

For the thigh straps we use 2 inch elastic.  

You can use whatever you'd like, as long as it can't be seen from the outside!

I think for most of us the closure finishes on the right side.
