Are we really getting that nitpicky on webbing where we are examining weaves? That seems like a standard the Legion wouldn't go for. 2 hours ago, TK8271 Rogue Trooper said: Agreed that the sitch zig zag needs to be more like this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk So it should be a wider zig zag? BikerScout007
How about this? I used a wider stitch and tried two different levels of tightness. Tighter in the middle, looser on the end. The weave detail is not something for basic approval, but if you compare it with the black webbing the difference is quite obvious I think. Curious to see how it looks on a finished belt with belt boxes.

Maybe I’m not naming it correctly, but the brown belt has twice the number of ribs compared to the black webbing in the same picture.

BikerScout007
Boiled the straps until they were nice and soft, then curled them up so they would maintain their curve. Now they hug it perfectly
Tarok
Boiled the straps until they were nice and soft, then curled them up so they would maintain their curve. Nice one! How long did you have to boil them for? Any heat gunning involved to get the final shape and fit?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They were as loose as spaghetti when they were done. No heat gun needed!
