Cordura Vs. Duck Cloth

I am trying to decide how I am going to make the main part of the Cummerbund, I have been talking to a source about using Cordura for the main portion of the bund, but I never knew how hard it would be to come by. So someone on Facebook suggested Duck Cloth instead? I am looking at becoming a level 2 with this kit as well and since its easier to build it level 2 from the starting line instead of trying to build something that passes and then upgrading.

I am wondering if there is a difference between the 2 and having the kit pass as what will be considered level 2.

Don't know about cordura, but duck cloth works fine for both basic and level 2 clearance.
