Advice for washing though, place in a pillowcase and seal with elastic band prior to washing! 15yrs of wearing and washing military flight suits so know a few tricks lol, also only wash on a 30 degree setting as it will preserve badges and stitching etc. 1 Quote

Actually, you're better off to spray it down with alcohol instead. Get yourself a spray bottle (non-transparent is best) and hit your local drug store/pharmacy and find yourself some 99% alcohol. Do like you do now and turn the suit inside out. Give the suit a good spray down when it's still damp and let it hang dry. The alcohol will kill any bacteria and doesn't leave any smell. Just be sure you're careful to not inhale the spray too much. Won't hurt ya, but it's not pleasant. 2 Quote

MrPoopie Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 I hand wash mine with Woollite or knitting fabric shampoo. I also try to avoid any real scrubbing on the leather parts, my butt flap is removable which helps. Then I roll each part in a towel to squeeze out as much water as possible and hang dry. Seems to do the trick. Quote
