Well I’ve finally finished my Scout.

Can you guys cast your eyes over it and give feedback?

Some small comments --

 

Your flak vest sleeves are a bit long. Likely won't matter for basic, but they'll need to be shorter if you're interested in Lancer (up to you).

 

Belt drop boxes should come up. Ideally they should only hang with a small space below the belt line, maybe an inch or an inch and a half.

 

Try to pull your bund up in the back, so it doesn't show below the detonator.

 

Your pouches should be about an inch from the L/R vertical seams . Try to move them outward a bit. They'll also hang straighter that way too.

 

Your belt is drooping forward a bit. Might want to tighten it slightly if you can.

 

All in all, you look really good. My comments are just small adjustments that can provide a big impact on your final look.

wow ... what did you do?

everything is on the wrong side!

 

~ fish hook on the helmet is supposed to be on the left side

~ black vents on the back of helmet are supposed to be on the left side

~ rank bars on the back tank are on the wrong side

~ grey square on the chest armor is also on the wrong side

~ thermal detonator greeblies are backwards

~ are you a lefty? cause, your holster suppose to go on the right boot man!

just to add to what chopper pointed out ...

if you raise your flak vest sleeves then your elbow armor will be able to come up some too, and when you bend your arm they wont be coming out and away from your arm.

 

and if you pull the belt up lift your cummerbund up some more, top of pouches to bottom of chest armor.

this will allow you to raise the cod piece. you dont want the cod to wrap under your crotch, if you get it to sit flush with your front and not wrap under then it prevents it from wrinkling up.

Thanks for the feedback guys, glad it’s just small tweaks needed.

I suppose we’ve all been there but was nervous I’d got it all wrong and was going to have to start over.

 

Can someone please advise how to get cleared, getting slightly confused?

You send the pictures to your local garrisons GML. Instructions should be found on the garrisons website or forum.

Looking good. Chef will get you shipshape in Bristol fashion. You should sail through basic approval.
