LucyR Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Has anyone shopped here? Looking for boots while I wait for my kit to arrive. http://www.bikerscoutboots.com/home.html Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Stroker Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 I don't have any knowledge of that vendor. Maybe someone can chime in with some info. 1
AJay Irish Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Personally after looking at the site I wouldn’t go anywhere near them. They don’t say anything about 501st quality just that they have made for one or two of us. Secondly. What the hell, there isn’t a single photo on there of their boots. Honestly this just reeks of so many questionable things. 2

Chopper Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Isn't that website run by Steve Robbins (sleeverob)? I believe he's a BSN and 501st member. http://forum.bikersc...?showuser=78150 https://www.501st.co...346&costumeID=6 I haven't seen his boots in person, but if you're looking for more info before making any purchases, you can always email him. 1
BikerScout007 Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 This site is news to me! You'd think if he were interested in selling boots, he'd put a post here in our Vendor section. Sorry, I don't have any info on this vendor for you, we do have vetted vendors (such as 4505Marcel, Chrisx909x and cheesewhoopy) right here: http://forum.bikersc...p?showforum=156 Each of these guys are proven vendors. Marcel was even DL of the Detachment for many years. 1
Merlin707 Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 I can stand by Marcel’s Boots. Mine arrived last week and they are amazing quality and very screen accurate! He has amazing comms and kept in contact throughout the whole purchase. 1

Tapatalk keeps kicking me out when I try to access the vendor page. :/ Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Aliaz Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 I got my boots from Chrisx909x, very happy. Better to go with a vendor with a good reputation.

Dragon_a Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 I know you're asking about vendors, but don't be too quick to rule out making your own boots. It's not as hard as you might think (and a bit cheaper). http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=903&hl=&fromsearch=1 2

I’m happy to make boots for people, but I also encourage everyone to give it a try as well. It’s a really fun and rewarding experience. 4
