Pugahkiin Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 I saw one photo on google of an ACU biker scout. Im rying to get an idea of what a Multicam one would look like. I want to build it.
BikerScout007 Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 Is this the image you saw? I know that guy. He comes to all the cons here. 1
Pugahkiin Posted May 11, 2018 Author Posted May 11, 2018 For the sake of not making a new forum post, I'm going to ask another question here... The guy in this video has templates for this really well done helmet. Where can I get templates like that for the OG scout helmet? With that level of precision of course. Pugahkiin Posted May 11, 2018 Author Posted May 11, 2018 There's really no templates ? That doesn't sound right. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk Building costumes from foam is not something that really goes on with 501st costumes. I haven't even seen a decent model of the Scout helmet available for 3D printing, so it doesn't surprise me at all that foam templates don't exist. 1
Pugahkiin Posted May 11, 2018 Author Posted May 11, 2018 oh wow okay... So everyone here just buys their costumes?
BikerScout007 Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 For the armor there are a variety of prop makers that sell kits that need to be assembled. The soft parts are either made by the costumer or commissioned. Since the Legion's primary goal is screen accuracy, everything has to meet that standard. We are somewhere in between off-the-shelf and cosplay. I save all my foam building for my Fallout cosplays. You may want to try the RPF for what you are looking for. Its just not what we do here.
Quakecry Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 What is the RPF and how do i access it? Replica Prop Forum. https://www.therpf.com/
Retrofire Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 Another resource that might be helpful to you is the Evil Ted You Tube channel. He builds all sorts of things using foam and makes some neat cosplay items. There are a lot of tips and techniques you can learn from him. Best of luck to you! 2
BikerScout007 Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 I love Evil Ted. Got a lot of good tips from him! 2
