Frank75139 Posted October 28, 2018 Author Posted October 28, 2018 How do you attach the clips to the detonator. The ones I got were plastic and tie wrapped around the pipe. They broke so I put metal ones on and they slip around and I’m afraid I’m going to lose themSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Chopper Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 For a new build, folks generally rivet them into the det tubing. You can see how Strider mounted his on page 2 here: http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/topic/17305-lancer-build-tutorial/&page=2 This may be more difficult for you, since your end caps are already glued. If you want, PM me your address and I can send you some extra grey pool tubing.

Frank75139 Posted November 9, 2018 Author Posted November 9, 2018 So I submitted the pics two weeks ago and got my reply today. In the mean time I did fix the detonator, thanks Chopper, got the clips you recommended in October that I completely skipped over and was able to take the end caps off with no damage at all so I’m glad that’s done properly. Nothing was said about the flap so I’m assuming it’s good. I was told I had to fix the rear bund from sagging, and tighten up the hip box webbing. I have already done the velcro trick to the flax vest prior to these pics, any other ideas to keep the bund from coming down a bit at the top and staying under the armor? The bund is tight so it’s not like it’s loose on me. As for the hip boxes I thought they were supposed to be looser, guess I was wrong that should be an easy fix. Other then that is there an easy to keep the knee armor from falling down? I wore mine armor to a local Halloween function, everyone loved it but I noticed all the armor was kinda sliding a bit. We have a toy drive coming up 12/1 and I’d really like to get this done so I can finally troop in it. FrontBackHalloween function with my sonSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
BikerScout007 Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 Biggest problem I see is your bund is too low. It should not go below your belt. Rather it should stop right at the belt. Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk 1

Frank75139 Posted November 11, 2018 Author Posted November 11, 2018 Resubmitted my pics this morning. Tightened the belt boxes and lifted the bund a bit.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Digger Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 Is the bund staying up when you move around? I am thinking maybe the flight suit is causing your bund to slip, looking at the legs, the black suit is a bit baggy/loose. If you put something tight over something thats too big anyway, then the tight stuff is likely to move around.

I actually made wraps to put around the ankles to help keep the legs down a bit and in place. The bund seemed to stay up when I took those pics but I haven’t tried it since then. If I get the basic approval I’ll have a chance to wear it for a few hours at a troop and go from there. I think my body style has something to do with it too. At about 260 the bund is kinda acting as a corset as well cause that’s where the weight is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hope to get approval from my wife soon so I can order a kit!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Frank75139 Posted November 20, 2018 Author Posted November 20, 2018 Guess that last comment did it. Got my approval today! TK-TB not sure if the Empire gives a pay raise with that jump, but it’s worth it to be able to move around again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 4
