Wingspan Posted May 28, 2018 Author Posted May 28, 2018 Hi Wingspan great WIP so far! Just been looking at your helmet specifically the back where the Dome joins the main part. Is there supposed to be a gap there or is it supposed to be flush? Maybe a more experienced Scout could confirm for us? Keep up the good work though, I’m rather jealous how good your needlework is, I’m shocking when it comes to doing that. As I read the CRL that gap should be fill d for Lancer, but may be acceptable for Basic. Either way, I won't be submitting the SC helmet.. I have an Altman on order and hope to have it soon.
Chopper Posted May 28, 2018 Posted May 28, 2018 Correct, the gap along the join for the cap and back style helmets is a-ok for basic clearance. 1
Merlin707 Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 Hey Wingspan that makes two of us with the Altmann on order. Mine I’m advised should be getting shipped out in a couple of weeks. If you don’t mind I may have to pick your brains about your WIP when I come to put my SC Armour together after my honeymoon.

I'm happy with they way my SC helmet came out but it is a bit small. It fits, but a bigger helmet will be more proportional for me. I've heard nothing but good about the Alt helmet. This is my first set of armor so I'm certainly no expert. Ask away though.
sprktaf Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 As always, looks fantastic. Seen you made the list. Enjoy your troop time.
