Where mount mix-speaker

I don’t have an in-helmet speaker for my mic. It’s a small box that most use.

Where do you guys mount/position it?

If I hid inside one of my pouches, I’m worried about weight and pulling one down more than the other.

I’ve also considered mounting with Velcro inside/under my chest armor. But there’s not a lot of room.

Ideas?

Pouch and under the chest are the two most popular places to put the speaker. If you just reinforce your bund and pouches with velcro, it should hold pretty well

I put mine in my pouch with a wireless reciever and the mic in my helmet.

I did build a small box of thin cardboard to put in my pouches to reinforce them.

I have my Aker amp mounted in my left pouch and I've never had any issue with it pulling. I just route my microphone cable through my soft parts. I just took a piece of really stiff fabric and created a strap for the belt clip on the back of the speaker to slide through, which holds it pretty securely.

The only problem with mounting a speaker under your armour is feedback from the speaker. That said, it can be done.
