762s
thanks for posting the wip pics i like the v2 ... very close to the original, nice job! i have never built or seen a lonewolf in hand so, question .... why did you fill/rework all the vents in the back? is there an issue there? Darth Chridan
why did you fill/rework all the vents in the back? is there an issue there? Hi... because at the original helmet there are only 8 vents. At the LW are 9. And the vents of the LW bucket are too sharp pulled.....at the original one not. Therefore the putty in the vents etc... Cheers...
762s
the number of vents where brought up in my rs helmet builds because i was adding the 8th vent ... there seems to be: ~ 7 vent helmet ~ 8 vent helmet ~ 8/9 vent helmet ... the 8 and 9 vents are merged together making one wider vent ~ 9 vent helmet ... the 9th vent is smaller see the posts with reference pics here 7 vents ... screen used: http://forum.bikersc...ndpost&p=168405 8, 8/9 and 9 vents ... pics here http://forum.bikersc...ndpost&p=168411 i like the 8 vents though

And so they are now only 7 vents. At the original helmet there are even 9 vents...you can see it on starwars helmets at the khaki unpainted helmet. The propmaker at the filmset has filled it with putty after they has clued the dome parts. Cheers.... Gesendet von meinem HTC Desire 10 lifestyle mit Tapatalk Hey Darth Chirian, perhaps the vent repair was done when the original helmet was made for ROTJ? I ask because when RS posted photos of the original purchased helmet, the shots of the insides didn't show a repair -- at least not one done after the mold was pulled. Maybe they have filled with putty the left vent automatically when they have clued and primed the dome....All in all...the helmet in starwarshelmets.com was my reference.
