Cod strap attaches to where in the back?

I've looked and looked and even in a lot of build threads and see nothing. The strap coming from the cod going to the rear, (I call it the g-string..haha) where does that attach to? Is it snapped onto the belt? Is it velcro'd to the butt flap?

Mine is attached to the bottom of my vest, like so:

Yep, mine is similar to Mickey's. Attaches to a little tab of Velcro on the back of my flak vest.

Tab of Velcro on the inside of the cummerbund works well for me.

You don't need to overdo it like I did. Like the guys said, tab of Velcro is fine. I wanted to make mine adjustable so i used parachute clips. The screen scouts had straps that connected to a slider attached to the vest

Hugh just a little tip, when sewing Velcro to fabric and that velcro will be larger than than the matching elastic part it, use the loop side (soft), so the "slack" so to speak wont rub against your overalls, and damage them.

On your elastic use the hook (rough) as it will be completely be covered by the loop side.

Hope that makes sense.

Normally I have photos but shock horror I don't this time.

Oh and make sure its centred, when attaching.

Well, I didn't go full Lancer with my "butt floss"! LOL

I sewed velcro to underside of cummerbund and attaches there.

Trust me, you can't have enough sewable velcro material, both black and white. Just go into fabric store and clean them out of all .5" and 2" velcro! LOL
