marishka
Hello all! I'm starting off my build with having a buddy print the bucket for me. My only concern is the sizing of it. I'm a female of average height (5'8") and am concerned that if I print the file at it's normal printing size it will make me look like a bobble head. Any suggestions on how much smaller to scale it down to?
Gojira72
If you can get a Head scan of yourself, and Take the Full Construct and place it over the scan, You can resize as needed. For Mine I needed to scale it up to 110%, because I have a large head.
skippy
Thanks a cool idea, but you dont need to get that detailed with a 3D scan. Just get some rough head measurements and make an oval shape in any CAD program with those dimensions. You can then scale accordingly. Smokeshow
Marishka, did you find out what you were wanting to know? There is a much simpler way to figure out sizing.
KOtrooper
I'm also 5'8" and feel like my head is a normal size. I printed Sean's helmet at 100% and it fits ok. I'm a little concerned about adding some padding and still seeing out of the eye area. We shall see. You do feel like a bobble head with the bucket on but it all evens out when you wear the rest of the armor. I have a BSP v2 helmet and it fits well too. Just a tad heavy which is why I'm hoping the lighterweight 3D print will work.
