gotbluemilk Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 What are you guys using for padding or helmet liner? foam, hardhat straps? what is the correct color of the lens supposed to be, gray or green or something else? thanks in advance!
Tomob419 Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 I used foam. I actually tried the hard hat insert but I didn't like it in combination with the chin strap. 1
NCwerewolf Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 What exactly is meant by the term 'visor' and how is it black? I thought the visor was the piece that over-shadows the eyes and that it was white. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk

And its black... Rule of thumb....make it look like the movie Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk

gotbluemilk Posted January 23, 2018 Author Posted January 23, 2018 sorry, you are right, i meant the lens. so we have one person saying black, the other saying green. i bought an SC kit and it came with green, I have seen Altmanns and it comes with grey/smoke/light black...??? What exactly is meant by the term 'visor' and how is it black? I thought the visor was the piece that over-shadows the eyes and that it was white. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
BikerScout007 Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 Not sure who is saying green, but the lens should not have any sort of colored tint to it. If it looks black when its assembled and on the wearer's head, you are all good 2
Rob787 Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 hey Op i also have a SC kit and it looks like this , it look green when you look out but its black on the outside 1

BikerScout007 Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 Does the RS bucket come assembled or in pieces? Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk It comes as a kit that needs assembling. And since it is made from a production helmet, the process is tricky. There are a few threads where people show their builds Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk

762s Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 i use the headband ... i dont mind it and i like it better than the helmets with padding. the headband feels more secure. as for the lens ... i use this cheap grey one from oneal. http://www.freestyle...%5cu0020lens%7d you can see the oneal lens and the screen used lens in my post here ... http://forum.bikersc...ndpost&p=168026 and the RS welding faceshield is 10x darker and all black than the green shield, say ... from trooperbay. i dont suggest either material! and as far as the "green" ... it has been mentioned around here alot // green welding face shield // trooperbay // ect. after getting the green tinted shield i dont like it at all and its really dark green. one of my first post was to source this lens and even i was told "Welders shield in dark green" .... http://forum.bikersc...l=&fromsearch=1 the reason for the use of the green welding shield is the black look from the outside and to hide your features/eyes from the camera flash!
