petition of sorts to remake sierra sneakers thought?

Okay, so I've returned from travel and was able to get at my copy of the book. Unfortunately, I don't think the one photo of the boot is all that helpful. The resolution and exposure of the image reproduced in the book doesn't really show the pattern on the side of the sole too well. We've seen better photos in other places. The mention that no horizontal ridges are visible is probably just due to the fact that the leather cover looks to have sagged a bit in the rear here, covering over the pattern we see in other, better photos.

Bummer. I've more or less given up on finding the actual screen used shoe, but at least I've got the next best thing!

Hopefully in the future we might get more info and how they acquired the screen used shoes.
