Rivet Gun

Despite being a retired diesel mechanic and motorcycle wrencher, I do not own a pop rivet gun. Do me a favor and sound off with your preffered make and model (along with the proper ammo size I need to stock up on) so I can make a decision on which one to buy. It'll soon be time to start punching holes in stuff and I wanna make sure I get the right size rivets and whatnot.

I have the Arrow rivet gun, nothing special

And you'll need 1/8 rivets and rivet washers for everything. Just in silver, no white needed!

i picked mine up at home depot ..

 

it was a kit -- DeWalt 10" with 3 different nozzles/heads and 120 rivets(60 steel and 60 aluminium) for like $14

~~ not the swivel head version ~~

 

the rivets in the kit are all 1/8" wide and varies in length which is nice when you have multiple layers to hold.

1/8" length for abs belt and nylon strap

1/4" length for the holster, vinyl boot, abs backer, elastic calf strap
