Redheadmetalhead Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 I'm finishing off a GM build, and since the GM section of Blizzardforce is pretty much dead, I'm here for tips on how to do the banding on the shin armor, since the GM and Kashyyyk trooper have the same type of armor. What material is commonly used for the bands that go around the armor? And what is typically used for the clips on the bands themselves? Do you cut into the front flat section and feed the bands into the armor, or just cut it right at that front flat detail? Thanks for any help! 1
ferra Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Hey bro, You gotta cut the holes on the raised part. The bands themselves are cottonish looking, not white but raw off white looking: On the above picture you can see the clips that go on the outside, they should come with the kit, if not you can simulate them using small hinges. On the below picture you can see the inside clips, they don´t come with the kit but you can just bend some leftover ABS from the armor and do it:
