3M bolts ?

So I’m finishing my bucket and using my 3M concave boots.

Question- with the square notch under, do I need to cut my visor to allow to sit into the face plate and visor and not main helmet?

Or do I just insert and tighten up!

 

I can tell it won’t hinge correctly if it goes all through to main helmet.

So do you kinda cut out a square so it sits in the visor?

Just drill a 1/2" hole on the visor and push the bolts in place. They'll make their own "corners" and stay put.
