Quick question guys, is there a certain way you have to attach the shoulder bells using the cable tie method? I'm sure I saw a thread on this a while back but I can't find it.

Cheers.

I do it like this

(snip)

does the zip tie base lock the zip tie on the end with no locking mechanism?

or are you gluing the zip tie end to the base that mounts to the chest armor?

e6000, ca glue or hot glue?

and what size ziptie and ziptie base are you using? .. i see several sizes out there!

do you mind sharing where you sourced them from?

I did glue it to the base at one point but the easiest thing to do is just snip off the end of another ziptie and use it to lock on to the end

Oh and I just used Medium length zipties

use the lock of another ziptie .. thats simple enough and sounds like it will work

thanks for the info .. once again :)

Also it doesn't really matter what length of ziptie you're going to use. I leave enough for about 1.5 inches to span the distance between the edge of the bell and the shoulder bridge and then cut off the rest
