Boot tops very wide

I'll post a pic of the blaster tonight.

 

The bolts are the standard altman ones. If I replace them with the ones from here will that suffice?

I'll need to remake the boot shafts.

With the above 2 i doubt I'll get them done this side of Christmas though.

 

Re the elastic on the cod, I've zoomed right in on my face on pic and there is no elastic visible. Are you saying there should be?

Can you take a measurement of the bolt heads.

 

The cod elastic may just be a shadow, the area looks like an upside down U, if you could take another front photo.

Those bolts are tad small. Visor hinge bolts (visible bolt head diameter of 22mm)

 

Those in the for sale section will be fine.

Quick update, i have ordered replacement bolts, as soon as they arrive I'll fit them and post new pics.

I'm also sourcing the base boots to remake my boots with narrower shafts. I figure it'll be easier overall than trying to rebuild the existing ones.

Can I assume that those are the only 2 issues i need to address?

Thanks for your patience with this, I've finally had some time to remake my boots:

 

 

 

 

Obviously they need to be weathered to match with the rest of my armour but wanted some feedback as to fit?
