762s
alright using this info here: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=7084 there seems to be different measurements given 6" wide x 7" tall and 7" wide x 6" tall 2" - 2 1/2" deep so, what is it? i also understand these are sized to each person but, the pouches i received are: 5" wide x 6" tall x 2" deep without armor how can i tell if the sizing of these pouches will fit for my build? im 5'11" - 32" pant size for waist .. if that helps or if anyone has similar build and can reference their pouch sizes also, i want to be as screen accurate as possible and will be going for lancer so, this is why i am asking about the pouches ... it seems to me like these pouches will be to small especially in width, am i correct in thinking so? thanks for any guidance/help on the pouch sizes
Aliaz
I used the template from the Lancer build thread. we are pretty much the same height, and mine are just over 6†tall x 5†wide. My initial mockup was closer to 6†wide but it just looked to wide.

stasz
6x5x2. Just curious, is the preference now to use those measurements or still go for proportionality?
BikerScout007
Just curious, is the preference now to use those measurements or still go for proportionality? I mean... unless you are either really short or really tall, those dimensions will look best. The pouches are supposed to fit right in there between the bottom of the chest armor and top of the belt and there just isnt huge differences in that gap based on height. The problem with trying to adjust it is that more often than not people screw it up. So they either end up with two pizza boxes or two marshmallows. But that's my preference. batninja
I was just going to post about this issue. Looking at my pouches, they appear too big. I'm 6ft, 255 lbs, pouches measure 6x7". Thoughts? Too big?
762s
they look a little wide. but, not that bad .. could be the squareness of the padding your using too ?!?!?! the height looks decent if you can get he chest armor to come down on top of them abit maybe, some of the seasoned vets can give their advice
BikerScout007
To my eyes they are too big. I think 6x5x2 would be a much better fit. But those pouches will be fine for approval. 7x6 was the norm for so long there are tons of scouts out there with pouches that are too big. Here is the Scout from the Costumes book as a reference
