Bizarro Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Hey all I have the SC helmet and am currently putting it together. My concern is this gap right here. Is that supposed to be there or do I just need to shape the face plate a bit? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
762s Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 i cant recall how my sc ss helmet was. surprised someone here hasnt been along yet to lend some info since thats the faceplate i would think the visor should cover that gap .. maybe send sc an email, they reply pretty quick good luck!
Bizarro Posted November 9, 2017 Author Posted November 9, 2017 I did end up shaping it so that it would fit, however it looks like every other helmet I see the edge of the faceplate and visor are straight. Was I incorrect in shaping this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
762s Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 looks good .. maybe, trim it a little bit more so the gap line is even all the way down when the visor is closed.
NegativeEleven Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 2 months old, so maybe I am too late but... saw this and have to point out, the horizontal lines should be level. the tube shape of back of helmet lines up with ridge on visor and top of back part lines up with top of visor. Your visor looks like it's leaning down/forward. You may have trimmed too much. You might be able to cut the hole in the main helmet to bring the bolt back a little. Then trim visor's back edge a little to make the face come up a little. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
