Scout trooper and Shadow Scout costume requirements

Recommended Posts

I've been looking at the 501st CRL and one thing caught my attention. Why is it required to have a vest and neck seal for a scout trooper costume, but not a shadow scout? Is it because the shadow scout is all black so you can't really tell or because since we never see them in any movies/ games we don't know if they actually wear them?

P.S. Are wampa wear flight suits any good for a scout costume, their gloves look good but I'm more concerned about the suit

The neck seal is worn under the suit and it optional. The shadow scout belongs to spec ops detachmemt. I feel the shadow should mirror the regular scout, but hey that's not up to me.

The WW suit has to have all the mods. Riding patch, flap, elastic around the thighs and so on. It's cheaper just to mod a pair of redkap overalls.

It's just because it's different detachments with differing levels of detail.

A couple of years ago we pulled the details of the Storm Commando more into line with the regular Scout so the CRL's reflected each other better, but the level of detail that we know about the regular Scout has come on apace within the last 18-24 months mostly in part to the solid dedication of the chaps here on the BSN.

Our CRL's have been updated recently to reflect that, I can only suspect that Spec Ops haven't felt the need to do the same, but I am sure they will do in time.

Yep, all correct. Spec Ops has this on their to-do list. :)
