Hi guys,

does anyone know or have files for printing scout armor. It has to be approvable. The one i already found does not have correct arm pieces.

Complete Biker Scout armor Star Wars found on #Thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1300298

I only need armor and NOT the helmet.

Thx in advance

Chris

It would take quite a bit of work after you printed it to make it approvable. The knees are first generation and would need to be replaced, the tank topper is incorrect, and it looks like the TD is printed to the belt? Interesting too is that it looks like you can print a cummerbund! I can’t imagine that being comfortable on a long troop! While the printing has come a long way I would go with an established maker like WTF or SC. Between the cost of the file, material and the mods necessary to make it workable you’ll probably be close to the cost of a full kit anyway.

Excuse me, Can anyone give me links to decent Scout Armor Kit sites? My Budget sadly is 500 dollars. I was wondering that would be good for any of the sites your willing to give me.

I've never bought from this seller so I don't know how screen accurate it is plus I'm also new to this but I found this http://studiocreations.com/howto/bikerscout/bike_armorforsale.html you should probably check with other people to see how good it is...

so what are the downfalls of 3d printing the armor parts besides having to make a few adjustments to some of the pieces in order to get it level 1 accepted for the 501st? the 3d files ive seen for some of the armor looks pretty spot on and ive seen alot of scarif troopers 3d print the armor and get accepted into the 501st
