Skethra Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Hi all. What are the measurements for the riding patch and correct location to fit them to the trousers is it one patch or two sewn roughly from knee to crutch. Some pics would help a lot. Thank Steve.
Bally Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Kashyyyk section gentlemen.... This screeny probably shows the location best: This thread discusses the dimensions. I managed to scrape up the main picture with dimensions: I don't think a straight rectangle will work on the curved surface of the trousers though. 1
Stroker Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Man! Well it isn't the first time I've done it. 1
Retrofire Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 We're all Just one big pathfinder fam! I wish our riding patches were this staightforward though.😄 Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk 1
Skethra Posted October 8, 2017 Author Posted October 8, 2017 Thanks guys. Didn't realise there was a boarder, what is the patch made of and the boarder. Is it dyed or stained to colour it.
Bally Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Pretty sure you could get away with a neatly folded over, stitched edge. I think most people use suade leather and just buy it in that "off-grey/tan or oatmeal" colour. Obviously sewn on after the cams are dyed 1
Skethra Posted October 9, 2017 Author Posted October 9, 2017 Thanks guys a great help. Sure there will be more questions later. 1
comm tech Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Yep go with the oatmeal, I picked up a 1/2 yard at Joannes fabrics for about $7 (with coupon) With mine and my wife's CB we Made the corners are squared as we could, but we did put a bit of round on them. The border is nice if you are great with fabric, luckily my wife is, but it is not in the crl's....at this time. 2
