I messed around with a utility knife on them a while ago and the sole material is incredibly hard. I’m a bit afraid to attempt it again, especially with the leather on it now. Everything looks great, but the pouches appear a little small. I usually recommend 5.5x5.5 - 6x6 inches for them. Are yours in that ball park? You also look tall so that could be part of it.
