Hey guys, So Really wanting to start a kit for a scout trooper. I will be getting in contact with the scout trooper that is already up here for advice and etc. But I thought in the mean time that I could get more opinions on the subject matter. I was going to see where a good starting point is for the kit, good vendors and etc. I was thinking it would prob be best to get the soft parts first?

Best place to begin your research is over in the Armory. There you'll be able to check out all the parts that go into the costume and learn how they go together. Strider has an ongoing build thread where he's building a set to Lancer Spec and there is a ton of information there. The information there will help guide you in what to do and also what not to do as you make your way to approval.

Most folks start with their boots, balaclava, and gloves and move out from there. If you have a sewing machine you can sew your own softgoods using the patterns and guidance found here. There a quite a few armor makers so research is the key to find the maker that fits you.

We're here to help you be successful so head out and start checking out the wealth of information here. Post up any questions in the related forums we have a host of folks here that will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Wampawear.com is probably the BEST site for the Glove and Biker Suit.

Studiocreations.com is used by many Scouts for the Armour and Helmet.

Ceativeartshop.com is a Good source for the Cummerbund and Flak Vest. Serving 501st Scout, Admiral Daala With the Dutch Garrison 'Pascale' runs the shop.
