I know I still need to make a few small changes, but just wanted to see what everyone thought. The pics taken inside where my original app pics. Than I made a few adjustments and took some fun pics outside.

The two things I know I need to do for sure are switch the bicep straps over to 2in and I am waiting on the correct 3M bolts to come in for the helmet.

Here are the fun pics I took today with the following adjustments from above:

Shortened drop belt straps

Weathered Kit

Lengthened the Mud Flap by an inch

Added some velcro to keep everything from shifting

Nice weathering! The biggest things that stand out to me are; all 5 strips need to be visible on the cummerbund with the pouches being an inch away from the outside strips. You're probably gonna need to resize your pouches to correct that. Also your cod piece is a little long and bunching up at the bottom.

Yeah, I actually have a second strip of velcro I can move the cummerbund to that is higher, I am still messing around with placement. But I have a REALLY long torso so that may be part of the issue.

The pouches I realized after I took the pics that they are in to far, I think I can still get by moving them out an inch either way, they are right on the lines right now. I used the templates to make them. They are only to the edge of my armor right now, and they could go out a bit past as I see many scouts do.

Hopefully those are the only two issues I end up with. Easy fixes that I have already been able to make adjustments for in my design, just need to take the new pics.

Nice weathering dude.

Only things I seen were your drop boxes, which you already fixed ;)

And your pouches. They are too close together.

They look too wide to me as well, but by moving them, and maybe making them less square that might fix that.

I use rectangle sponges, so you get the right shape, but soften the lines . Hope that helps.

Best of luck with lancer

I have a smaller set of pouches I can try as well. I think moving them out may help, I have a insert in them that makes them really square looking, so I may just take the inserts out.

Well I just made all those adjustments so my cod should be higher, and my pouches are spaced properly. Also finished adjusting all of my straps to the new CRL requirements. Bolts for my helmet will be here this week hopefully. So goal is to take new pics and apply Sunday.

Awesome build bro! :D

You should definitely stick it for Lancer B) Though I see two things you need to adjust for that.

1. On the knee armor you need the upper strap. As far as I could see in the pictures you only have the main strap on.

2. Try to tighten the pants and make it less baggy. The legs are not supposed to be super tight, but should be nicely fitted.

Look at the legs on the top of the CRL page at 501st.com: http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TB_Scout_trooper

I have the strap on the knees. Just hard to see.

I also took it in a tiny bit yesterday, hopefully it's enough. I can't take it in a ton or they are too tight.

Well, I actually just pulled out the machine and took another almost 2.5in out of the legs. Can't really go anymore without making it uncomfortable. But it made a huge difference! Thanks for the recommendation. I also took an inch out of the sleeves all the way up. Everything looks much cleaner now. Hopefully you all caught everything before I submit. It would be nice to get it first try. Lots of work, but totally worth it.

Thanks everyone for chiming in!!

Good Luck on your Lancer application! Looking great!

Thanks! I actually just turned it in today. Lots of work, but I really think the adjustments that people pointed out I should make in this post really helped. Fingers crossed it is good enough.
