BurningHeart Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Well I received the first piece of the puzzle. It's gonna be a slow build but worth it in the end. 2
Kosejonas Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Nice & congratz mate Which helmet kit is this? Can't say that I've seen a kit that comes with full snout decals before (both the black and grey that goes under the snout). And if I was you, I would not put in the nett/grid for the ears. I would cut the holes and use black sports tape on the inside of the helmet like they did in ROTJ. That way you also get better ventilation. Looking forward to see your progress

I think you'll actually be happier having built your own helmet, since you can better control how everything fits together. One tip -- you may want to look at purchasing a replacement snout aerator part, since the one that comes with the KS is inaccurate. Good luck and make sure you update us on your progress!
Retrofire Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 Awesome. Be sure to take it slow and repeat the words measure twice then trim. Chopper has a point about the snout greeblie. I would change that out and I would replace the decals with a set from Trooperbay. There are several vendors that you can get the snout from so if you need any help there let us know. Looking forward to seeing your bucket come together!
