Sniper Rifles added to the Official CRL.

It's been a long time coming folks!

 

 

We've been after this for about the past five years or so, and after a lot of research, a bit of prodding, we've finally been able to get it all done.

 

 

The Sniper Rifles have now been officially added to the CRL's as a useable weapons platform.

At this stage, the DLT-19 and the DLT-19x (scoped version) are the only two currently acceptable variants of the 'long rifle' that have been put onto the official CRL.

 

 

We're still working on getting the DLT-20a and the E-11s (DC-15x) variants added on there, but we'll keep pushing for these.

Just need some clarification. Can DLT-19X Targeting Rifle have a bi-pod or not?

I see Hyperfirm has a bi-pod like this . . .

 

If we modify our DLT-19s, do we need to remove the bi-pod and add the correct scope?

The way I read it, it's either a DLT-19 (like what you have pictured), or a DLT-19X (like what you described).

Check with your Garrison on whether any alternate rifles can be used. If they say stick to the CRL then only the ones that are listed can be used.

I have said before, when I carry a big gun, I prefer Dengar's Valken 38, even if the new Battlefront only put it in Clone Wars snipers' hands. Based on the old Battlefront games, the only source when I started building, the barrel shroud is square, not round.

 

Still, thanks for getting this change thru. It's a discussion that has been going on here since before I started my journey to 501st approval 5 years ago. I do hope most scouts will still be carrying just a holdout blaster, cause we are "bikers" first and "scouts" second. You can't very well use a sniper rifle while driving a speeder bike!
