Greetings, can anyone shed some light on the scout blaster offered by Polymer Armory? From the pictures on Facebook they seem to be of high quality. Would one of these meet standards?

I have a hero version and it's fantastic in terms of quality and detail. The downside is that bc it's hard resin, it weighs slightly more than the DVH or Hyperfirm blaster, which makes keeping your boot up more difficult.

yup, the blasters are top notch, best I've seen so far.

Well I think I'll have to place an order after the high praise. How bad of an issue will the weight be in regards to boot slouch?

Bad ;-) Seriously, it's pretty heavy.

Any tips or tricks to counter the boot slouch?

This thread was helpful when I was doing my build.

I second all the praises!!! Got me a "Hero" version as a kit and I can tell, dont want to get another. It might be a bit heavier than others but once you found your personal "saggy-boot solution" its fine. Though it grants the feeling of sporting a real weapon rather than just having a toy.

In the end, the fact what the source for the scope casting is, speaks for itself ;)

Kind of digging up an old thread but I just my hero blaster in the mail today, this thing is amazing! His molds are spot on. The detail is incredible and fit and finish is top notch.
