BuckeyeTK
Hey folks... looking for some feedback on the eye cutouts & ear holes. Helmet is just dry fit together right now. Want to make sure I have this stuff right before I move on to attaching the face shield & visor & paint the interior. Bubonos
Looks great trooper! Don't forget to paint the black around the snout like I did at first! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-J120A using Tapatalk
BikerScout007
That looks really great man. The SC eye area is always a little too small but it looks like you widened it out. Good job!
Kosejonas
Looks as close to perfect you can get on an SC Helmet to me. Did you get the lenses from SC as well? I did the mistake to not heat up and bend the lense first. Try to find something that has the similar oval shape as the inside of your visor. Try to heat it up with a heating gun or the oven, and shape it in to fit better instead of forcing the bend on the lense.

Yes, right now it looks like the SC lens I have will still be large enough to cover the hole so I plan in using it. Thanks for the tip, I will definitely do that! Bubonos
I put my sc lens in the oven for a min and that worked for me. I didn't have a heat gun. The oven also comes in handy building your boots. I do have a heat gun but the oven seems like it would heat more evenly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bubonos
I set it on warm or your lowest setting. Add temp as you feel is needed. Also, put the lens on a block of wood or something. Stay close, and check it in a few minutes. This was a tip my buddy Dewka taught me and it worked like a charm.
