Canadian Options For Helmet

I'm starting on my journey to buld a suit of biker armor on a budget so it's going to be a slow go at one piece at a time.

 

I've decided I'm going to start with getting a good helmet to begin. I have a smaller head so from what I've been reading, SC will probably be my best choice. At $274 for the helmet and another $200 for assembly can anyone recommend a more affordable option? Or a Canadian retailer I could order from to help cut down on shipping and exchange?

Correct. KS makes a great helmet just a couple simple mods and you'll have a nice helmet. The armour is sub par that should be avoided. The SC helmet isn't hard to put together.

Yes to all this. In this one area, I can recommend KS. but NOT for armor.

The Alt is alot less than those figures quoted and is "ready to go out of the box"

I do recommend the Altman and wear one myself. Just need to attach a chin strap and you're ready to rock. Very happy with mind (cheers Spike.)

 

I'm Canadian and I ordered it. I didn't even get hit for import duties (though your mileage may vary obviously) and it came in under what you're quoting there for the SC assembled.
